iHockeyTrainer Challenge

Thanks to all that took part in the 30 second training exercise.

The drill was fun and focused on improving the following for your ice hockey skills:

  • Balance
  • Leg Strength (with Core & body stability)
  • Stick Handling - Being Able to 'Flip' it over an obstacle - Soft Hands!!!
  • Coordination
  • Mental Challenge - Staying with it...FOCUS on the task at hand
  • Hockey Stance Fundamentals

Bad Form Tip: Try to NOT have you knees collapse in.     Good Form Tip: Let Your HANDS do the work.

Keep Your HEAD UP!!!                                            Keep body LOW & Under Control

             

Bad Form Tip: Keep your legs bent & shoulders back   Good Form Tip: Sit your but down & shift your hands 

                                                                   when reaching.
